- 10" cast iron griddle
Ingredients
- 2 rainbow trout filleted leaving skin on 1 side
- 2 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice fresh
Instructions
- Fillet the trout leaving the skin on one side.
- Seasoning each fillet with lemon pepper seasoning.
- Preheat cast iron griddle on a stove over medium heat.
- Add fillets to cast iron griddle cook until fish is white. Approximately 5-10 minutes.
- Splash a lemon juice over the top of the filets.
Notes
- Preheat a cast-iron griddle fully to get perfectly crispy skin on the trout.
- Pat the fillets dry before seasoning to achieve a better, even sear.
- Cook the fillets skin-side down until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Add a splash of fresh lemon juice at the end for bright, fresh flavor.
