    Instructions

    • In a large bowl, mix all required ingredients. Consistency should be wet and sticky.
    • Grease a 12 inch Dutch oven with butter. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. If you are using optional ingredients add on top and allow to melt. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes.

    Notes

    • Crush the graham crackers into fine, even crumbs so the brownies hold together well.
    • Mix the batter until everything is fully coated and sticky for the best texture.
    • Add marshmallows near the end of baking so they melt without burning.
    • Let the brownies cool slightly before slicing to help them set.

I loved how the campfire flavor came through even when I made these in my kitchen. The layers of graham cracker and chocolate are a match made in heaven and the instructions were very simple to follow. It is the ultimate comfort food for anyone who loves the taste of s'mores but wants something a little more decadent.

The graham cracker crust adds such a satisfying crunch to the bottom of these rich, fudgy brownies. Making them in the Dutch oven gave the edges a perfect chewy texture that you just cannot get in a standard glass baking dish. It is a fantastic twist on a classic dessert that disappeared almost instantly at our last gathering.
