    Equipment

    • 10" cast iron skillet

    Ingredients

    • 2 Blue Marlin Steaks
    • 2 tablespoon olive oil lemon
    • ⅛ teaspoon salt
    • ⅛ teaspoon pepper
    US Standard - Metric

    Instructions

    • Heat a 10″ skillet on medium/high heat with the olive oil.
    • Sprinkle each side of the steaks with seasoning salt.
    • Sear each side for 3-5 minutes until fish is white all the way through and flaky.

    Notes

    • Pat the steaks dry before seasoning to help create a golden, flavorful crust.
    • Make sure the skillet and oil are hot before adding the fish to prevent sticking.
    • Flip the steaks gently with a wide spatula to keep them intact.
    • Avoid overcooking; cook just until the fish is opaque and flakes easily.
