Instructions
Preheat an oven to 350°F.
Halve the mini peanut butter cups.
Spray the cast iron skillet with cooking spray. Make the brownie batter per package directions.
Pour enough brownie batter into the prepared skillet to cover the bottom.
Press the candy halves into the brownie batter, fitting in as many as you can in any desired array.
Pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter cups. Bake according to the time indicated on the package.
When done, press several whole mini peanut butter cups into the still warm brownies.
Notes
For a more intensely delicious brownie experience, you could add some of the following with the mini peanut butter cups:

Chocolate chips.
Dragees like M&M's or Reese's Pieces
