Instructions
Mix all the seasonings together, salt, pepper, garlic, and cajun blend. (Note: for even more kick, add ¼ teaspoon cayenne powder)
Add all the vegetables and meats to a Large bowl, toss together
Sprinkle half the spice blend into the bowl, tossing to coat. LET the bowl sit for 15 minutes.
If needed add butter or oil to a hot skillet.
Cook the shrimp and sausage mixture in a 12” skillet over medium-heat for 8-10 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and the veggies are tender.
Once done, add fresh lemon juice, stir to combine, serve.
Notes
Preheat the skillet so it's nice and hot before you start cooking.
Make ahead for quick assembly on busy nights.
Go mild with a light spice mix or fiery with the addition of cayenne or sliced jalapeños.
