Cast iron popovers are a delicious treat that are easy to make and fun to eat.

Equipment

  • Cast Iron Popover Pan

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour white
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp confectioners sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Add eggs to medium mixing bowl and beat lightly.
  • Stir in the remaining ingredients until a fluffy batter forms.
  • Spray cast iron popover pan with buttered cooking spray.
  • Fill each cup ½ full.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with confectioners sugar and serve hot.

Notes

If you do not have a cast iron popover pan, you can use a cast iron muffin pan or non-cast iron muffin pan.
